We listed our house in Summerland with Joe in June 2011 and we were able to close August 31st. We were given excellent advice on how to present the house for sale (it was a rental property) as well as a realistic evaluation based on current market conditions. We’d been keeping an eye on Summerland housing prices so we appreciated that Joe was forthright in his assessment. Within a week of the listing, nearly 20 realtors had come by and left their business cards and Joe continued to actively market our property. We first worked with Joe when our son bought his first home. We had a very specific list of requirements for a house and Joe took the time to listen to us and found out exactly what we were looking for in this purchase. He made sure he got a clear picture of what we did or did not want in a home and he found properties for us to look at that met our needs. We never felt like we were shown houses that we were not at all interested in so we knew that he was listening to us. This was my son’s first major purchase and Joe let him work through the ups and downs of indecisiveness as a first time home buyer and my son never felt pressured.

We also worked with Joe when we sold a rental property. We knew it needed some major renovations and we asked Joe’s opinion on what renovations would give us the highest possible return on our investment. Even though our property was not listed with him yet, Joe stopped by regularly over the lengthy renovations to give us his suggestions and feedback on the work we had done to date. When we were finally finished, he listed the property, planned several open houses and had the property sold within one month of the listing.

After we offered on a new home in Peachland, we then had the daunting task at hand to sell our townhouse in Penticton.
